Meet Brynn Zawada

Family Law Attorney | Guardian ad Litem | Mediator | Special Master

About Me

For more than 15 years, I have dedicated my legal career to helping individuals and families navigate some of life’s most difficult and life-changing transitions. As the founder of Zawada Family Law, my practice is devoted exclusively to family law, including divorce, child custody, child support, removal actions, contempt and modification proceedings, guardianships, grandparent visitation, and other complex Probate and Family Court matters.

I represent clients throughout Massachusetts and have extensive experience appearing before Probate and Family Courts across the Commonwealth. Over the course of my career, I have handled a wide range of family law cases, from uncontested matters resolved through negotiation to highly contested litigation involving complex financial and custody issues at trial.

My approach to family law is both strategic and practical. While I am always prepared to advocate aggressively when necessary, I recognize that not every dispute needs to be resolved in a courtroom. I work closely with my clients to identify their goals, evaluate their options, and develop a legal strategy that protects their interests while positioning them for long-term success. Whether through negotiation, mediation, or litigation, my focus is always on achieving meaningful and lasting results.

Family law matters are rarely just legal disputes. They often involve children, finances, homes, businesses, and deeply personal relationships. I understand the emotional toll these cases can take and strive to provide clients with honest advice, clear communication, and steady guidance throughout the process. I believe that informed clients make better decisions, and I am committed to ensuring my clients understand both the law and the practical implications of the choices before them.

As a parent, business owner, and active member of the community, I understand many of the challenges my clients face while balancing careers, financial responsibilities, and family obligations. That perspective allows me to provide representation that is not only effective but also grounded in the realities of everyday life.

My clients often tell me they appreciate my responsiveness, attention to detail, and straightforward approach. I believe every client deserves direct access to an experienced attorney who listens carefully, communicates openly, and remains focused on achieving the best possible outcome.

I chose family law because it offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives during some of their most challenging moments.

Why I Practice Family Law

My interest in family law is both professional and personal. As a child, I experienced firsthand how family conflict can affect the lives of parents and children. That perspective, combined with more than 15 years of representing families throughout Massachusetts, has shaped the way I approach my practice today.

I understand that family law matters are rarely just legal disputes. They involve families, finances, children, and futures. While every case is unique, I believe effective representation requires not only strong advocacy and a thorough understanding of the law, but also practical guidance that helps clients make decisions with both their immediate needs and long-term goals in mind.

Whether I am helping a parent protect their relationship with a child, guiding a family through a guardianship matter, or assisting a client through a complex divorce, my goal remains the same: to provide thoughtful counsel, strategic advocacy, and personalized representation that helps my clients move forward with confidence.

My Approach

No two families and no two cases are exactly alike. While every matter presents its own unique challenges, my approach remains consistent: provide honest advice, develop a thoughtful strategy, and advocate effectively for my clients’ goals.

I believe clients are best served when they have a clear understanding of both the law and the realities of their situation. My role is not simply to tell clients what they want to hear. It is to help them understand their options, evaluate potential outcomes, and make informed decisions that align with their priorities and long-term goals. Clients can expect candid guidance and realistic advice, even when the answer may not be what they hoped to hear.

Whenever possible, I strive to resolve disputes efficiently through negotiation and settlement. However, when a resolution cannot be reached, I am fully prepared to advocate for my clients in court. Effective family law representation requires knowing when to compromise, when to stand firm, and when litigation is necessary to protect a client’s interests.

I understand that family law matters often involve more than legal issues. They can affect relationships, finances, businesses, and, most importantly, children. For that reason, I encourage clients to focus not only on the immediate dispute, but also on the long-term impact of the decisions they make throughout the process.

Whether through settlement, mediation, or litigation, my goal is to provide thoughtful counsel, strategic advocacy, and a legal strategy tailored to each client’s unique circumstances. I am committed to helping clients navigate difficult transitions with confidence while achieving practical and meaningful results.
